Carrie Me Away!

Hi friend!

I've never stood in line for hours waiting for a movie before. I didn't pop my tent in front of the theater playing Star Wars, freezing in the early morning hours in anticipation of light-sabers. Nor did I bring my beach chair and a book to the line for Indiana Jones and wait and wait and wait. I don't do that. At least I didn't do that. Tonight, I will be standing in line for hours waiting patiently for Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha and their costumes. I'm the dork that will be cheering and clapping at 12:01 am when the lights go down...and I couldn't be more excited to be so dorky. To be among the first to see the costumes alone will be worth the chill. The fashion is going to be insane...special couture pieces and looks (literally) right off the runways. I will have a full rundown for you tomorrow, but tonight I'm going to bust out a fabulous "Sex and the City" outfit and wait patiently. I don't know what it'll look like quite yet, but I know it will include my fuchsia patent leather Manolo slingbacks and this cocktail ring:

Love. Angel. Music. Baby. Separated, each word has its own meaning. Combined, L.A.M.B represent pop singer, Gwen Stefani's clothing and accessory line. I remember when Stefani entered the fashion world in 2003. It wasn’t a surprise that yet another singer was starting her own line, but for Stefani it was a natural transition. Recognized as a fashion trendsetter since her No Doubt days (with her infectious signature bouffant and bright red lipstick) Stefani always had it going on. Her alternative, chic style is seamlessly represented in her line and L.A.M.B. is everywhere.

Among the many spring shoes on my floor, there is one table that is noticeably filled with bright designs and funky styles. It is of course none other than Stefani's L.A.M.B. and everyone can't get enough. Inspired by Japanese culture, music and fashion, L.A.M.B. is well thought out, eccentrically sweet and comfortable (considering some of the very high heels).

Perfect for wide leg pants and a cute t-shirt, I especially love this wedged tennis shoe. Sure it's funky, but it is so J-pop I can't help but love it!

Black and white is always in and it couldn't look better than this checkered woven, mirrored-silver heel.

Stefani also continues to use Rastafarian influences such as Jamaica's colors, green, black and gold in many of her designs.

Fantastic with navy, denim or white, gray is still huge for spring and how can you not love the little bow?
