Oh Oxfords!
Hey fashionistas! There was a bad storm in my town today, and unfortunately the power went out in my home. So here I am blogging to you as I cozy up in a local coffee shop and sip on my latte.
Anyways, I'm here to talk about oxford flats because they have really been catching my eye lately. About last spring, these shoes made their debut with a younger, female crowd. It was hard not to fall for the pretty lace and bows that adorned them. Oh, and did I mention polka dots?
Now that the fall is coming up, I am even liking the oxfords without the feminine accents. Paired with your favorite skinnies or leggings and a sweater, they give off a sophisticated and intelligent feel that is perfect for school!
Want to stick to the original boyish look? Throw on your other menswear inspired pieces! A blazer or boyfriend jeans would complete the outfit. Shh, just don't tell the boys that you can pull off these pieces way better than they can..
