Peplums and Pleats
I love paying attention to trends and watching them trickle down from the runways to stores everywhere. A couple of trends that have been on the scene for a while that I am still loving for summer are pleated skirts and anything peplum! Both styles can create looks that are so chic, elegant and unique.
Pleated skirts come in all different lengths, I prefer the mid-length to long/maxi pleated skirts. These skirts can be dressed up with heels and trendy accessories or dressed down with tee shirts, casual flats or even tennis shoes!
Celebrities like Rihanna and Kate Bosworth show off this trend in two very different ways. What do you think of their looks?

Peplums are one of my favorite trends right now. Peplum dresses, skirts and even shirts create a stand-out look that puts you in center stage whether you are attending a party or just running some errands.
