New Look at Nail Art
While in Seattle, I got the pleasure of meeting and getting my nails done by Butter London nail polish founder Nonie Creme.
In the past, I usually have left my nails unpainted, or I have painted them a solid color. After seeing how adorable my nails turned out though, I got inspired to try some different things. Nonie did an ombre polka dot design on my nails. It's resemblance to candy gives my nails a playful vibe. Here's a look!
She also did many others' nails on set, including the beautiful model Bambi's as well as Lily's, BP's expert on Social Media. If you're feeling girly and sweet, try a small heart on each of your nails like them!
I am really loving all of the new ombre nails! Do an ombre design on each nail or fade one shade as you go down your hand.
For a little more sass, I like to add some glitter. A gold or silver finish makes your nails look rockstar chic.
Nordstrom's beauty team tried out this nail trend above a little bit ago. I'm eager to try it out myself!
Don't be afraid to have your nails tell a story. Just have fun with it! Also, not every nail has to be the same. Just like you can with clothes, you can mix and match different patterns on different nails.
Here are tutorials for two of my favorite unique DIY nails...
What are you flaunting on your nails this summer? Snap a pic and post it to BP's Facebook page!
If you're bored, have a nail party with some friends. Grab some polish, studs, nail stickers, files, and you're bound to have a great time.
XOXO,
Ashley
