Dance The Night Away

Tonight was my Senior Dinner Dance aboard a local ship that cruises a nearby river.  I stepped onto the boat in my favorite new heels ready to mingle with friends, dine and of course dance!  I took plenty of pictures so that the night would not be forgotten.

The dress code was "snappy casual" and I wore an orange/coral ruched dress with one semi-sleeve.   I purchased my splatter-paint heels before the dress, so it was a bit of a challenge to find a dress to match the shoes.  I carried a neon pink handbag as an accessory and wore simple pearl earrings. 

My friends looked just as fabulous!

 

 

Senior superlatives which were voted on by the entire Senior class a few weeks earlier were given out during the night.  These ranged from "Best Hair" to "Most Likely to Succeed" to "Most Likely to Date A Freshman."  I was so happy when I won the "Best Dressed" superlative!  It meant a lot to me that so many people appreciated my style and outfits throughout the years.

It was bittersweet knowing that my Senior class may never again be together to dance the night away but I look forward to stepping into my future in a fabulous pair of heels.
