Ombre On

The ombre trend is really big right now.  Ombre is the french word for shaded.  Anything ombre shifts from light to dark or fades from one color to the next whereas degrade fades from dark to light.  This trend is visible in everything from clothes to nails to hair!  

I found this Teen Vogue nail tutorial and was instantly inspired to try out ombre nails and to start incorporating more ombre/degrade designs into my wardrobe.

The tutorial was pretty simple and a little messy but the end result was worth it!
