Leather and Lace
Happy Friday!
Since it has been a week since the biggest shopping day of the year, I wanted to talk about everything I saw on Black Friday! I decided to take my sister and two cousins shopping at 6 a.m. to go for our very first time. Two of the biggest trends that we repeatedly saw in all of the stores were leather and lace. After getting home (and taking a nap or two), we decided to go to a park nearby and do a photoshoot in our new outfits!

Meet Morgan--my cousin! Her outfit takes a classic, preppy spin on the lace look with a polished blazer, skinny jeans, and black booties. I love the look of a fun, lace tank under a blazer or cropped jacket. It's perfect for a day at work or shopping with your friends.

Meet Kelli--my other cousin! She's wearing a white lace top with jeans and suede heels. The best thing about her outfit, in my opinion, is the lace sleeves. They're so feminine--perfect for date night!

Now most people might not think to pair leather and lace together, but I've found that they complement each other really well! I especially love the contrast of white lace and black leather. Wearing them together is a great way to show off your sweet personality with a little bit of edge!
